Dereliction of Duty

TownHall.com on Books & Publications
Dereliction of Duty is not a partisan tell-all but rather a detailed report on how America’s national security was put in jeopardy during the two years Patterson served the president. No other book covers the national security lapses on those years as well as this one, and it is a must read for students of the Presidency. -- by Jonathan Garthwaite

In retrospect, it is easy to see how Clinton's loathing of the American military led to his failure in his primary responsibility: the protection of the American people. Webster's Family dictionary defines "betray" as ". . . to be unfaithful in guarding or fulfilling: to betray a trust." Dereliction of Duty leaves little doubt about the cost of Clinton's betrayal. -- by Mary Walsh

In his bestselling tome entitled, "Dereliction of Duty", Buzz Patterson (Lieutenant Colonel USAF, now retired) provides us with a bird's eye view of the day-to-day chaotic and undisciplined Clinton presidency.

From Publishers Weekly
No man is a hero to his valet-or his personal military aide, to judge by this memoir of the Clinton White House by a retired Air Force colonel who carried Clinton's "nuclear football" and had intimate access to the President from morning jog to evening card game. Although Patterson claims to have no political agenda and to personally like the man, he revisits all the familiar touchstones of conservative Clinton-hatred (he also suggests that the former president bears some responsibility.
